Nikki is a Chartered Architect, founder and managing director of Hyve Architects Ltd.

With over 20 years experience in the architecture profession, she has been a Chartered Architect since 1993.  Nikki qualified with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture at Dundee University in 1988 followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University in 1992.  She became an elected member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in 1993.

During her career Nikki has worked in architecture practices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Oxford and London, which has allowed her to develop specialist knowledge in housing and special needs housing, although her experience covers a broad range of building types including, office and commercial development, hospitals and community health centres. She is also experienced in refurbishment projects within sensitive conservation areas.

In addition to her responsibilities in practice, previously Nikki has been a studio Design Tutor at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture (Robert Gordons University) in Aberdeen and a member of the Design Review Panel for Aberdeen City/ Aberdeenshire Council.
